A retired ADF Colonel, Paddy is a proven leader with over 30 years Defence, security, crisis management and operational logistics experience. His background and currency within the ADF allows for visibility on current Defence initiatives, key stakeholders and Tier 1 and 2 contractors.
Paddy has highly developed communication skills including liaison and negotiation gained in complex and sensitive environments for key stakeholder and relationship management – at business, Commonwealth and international level.
He is highly familiar with and experienced in Australia’s legislative, political and beaurocratic framework, and the Asia-Pacific strategic environment, using this experience where applicable to underpin business delivery and shape for winning work.
Paddy has extensive networks and relationships in the Australian government (Commonwealth and State) based logistics/security/emergency management sectors at senior executive and ministerial levels. His network of relationships includes members of parliament, senior public servants in Commonwealth and State (Queensland) departments up to Department Heads and Secretary level. In Defence his relationships are wide-ranging at across the Department at the one, two and three star level. These relationships and his in-depth knowledge and experience in government interagency planning and execution offers clients the ability to develop ‘targeted’ stakeholder engagement and business planning.
