Laura is an award-winning marketing and communications strategist with extensive experience in business development and government relations.
Her career has seen her work with some of Australia’s most recognised brands across not-for-profit, professional services, superannuation and financial services, FMCG, government and industry associations.
Laura has a passion for social services and has used her extensive experience to develop and implement marketing, communications and business development strategies for some of Queensland’s most iconic disability service providers including CPL, Help Enterprises and Lutheran Services.
Laura has an acute understanding of the specific needs and nuances of the disability sector having been instrumental in assisting these organisations transition to the NDIS and communicate these changes to their clients.
A passionate DFV advocate, Laura has been at the helm of developing significant social marketing and communications campaigns for the prevention of DFV in the community through her time at Brisbane Women’s Club and Clubs Queensland and the community club sector with a reach of 2.4 million people.
Likewise, she is passionate about proactive and engaging leadership and it is this passion that sees her being sought to sit on several Boards.
Laura is a current Board member of Small Steps for Hannah, building on her past Board experience with Zonta Club of Brisbane City Heart and Brisbane Women’s Club.
Laura has provided strategic marketing, communication and stakeholder engagement management for companies such as MBF (now BUPA), Southbank Corporation, Mercy Super, Brisbane Markets, Help Enterprises, CPL (Choice Passion Life), Help Enterprises, Lutheran Services, Brisbane Women’s Club and Starlight Children’s Foundation and Clubs Queensland.
