At Vaxa Group, we are focused on helping your business grow.
And because your success is our success, we are also enjoying a period of growth which has seen several new clients come onboard and new experts join the Vaxa Group team.
So it’s a perfect time to give our website an update.
Vaxa Group is entering 2020 with a real sense of optimism and giving our website a fresh new look and new content is a great way to start the year.
Visitors to the website will not only be given an insight into the expertise we offer, they will get to meet the newest members of our team and also read the details of some of the major projects we have worked on with some of the biggest names in the business, development and community worlds.
And key members of the Vaxa Group team are now writing fascinating articles for the website on everything from the pros and cons of stakeholder engagement to how to effectively deal with the media.
We are very proud of not only our new website but also the expert team we have in place to provide an even greater service to our clients. To visit the new website go to vaxagroup.com.
As part of its growth, the Vaxa Group has also welcomed one of the state’s most experienced and respected journalists to its communications team.
Damian Bathersby joined the team late last year, bringing with him more than 40 years of experience in the media throughout South-East Queensland and northern NSW.
A Stanthorpe boy born and bred, Damian began his career on the local newspaper straight out of high school and worked on a string of publications before spending almost 20 years in senior roles with the Sunshine Coast Daily.
Immediately before joining the Vaxa Group, he was Qld Deputy Editor of Quest Newspapers, responsible for 23 journalists producing a string of Brisbane community newspapers.
Making the transition from the media to corporate communications has ensured Damian has been busy since his first day with Vaxa Group but I know he is relishing the challenges.
He was recently telling me how much satisfaction he has been getting out of dealing with our clients and using his writing skill to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
It’s nice to know that in many cases he can pick up the phone and call a former colleague or contact in the media and get a positive response for a client, because the journalists know who they are dealing with and we have a mutual trust.
The future is looking very bright for Vaxa Group as we continue to grow, alongside our clients.
